To celebrate all of the different work we have carried out across the curriculum areas about the seaside, Class 1 had a seaside day.
We made our own picnic, carried out seaside activities and went to ‘Ramshaw Seaside’ in our Early Years garden. We finished the day with a well-deserved ice cream!
Our Year 6 pupils enjoyed a fabulous trip to Planet Leisure to celebrate all their hard work and efforts in the lead up to SATs. Well done everyone!

On Friday KS2 took part in the St John Ambulance’s ‘Big First Aid Lesson’. Themed around the familiar scenario of attending a Fireworks Night event, with a ‘Vlog’ presentation style, students observed real-life first aid situations as well as demonstrations of relevant first aid techniques, including important bonfire night safety tips. Pupils covered a whole host of topics including who, what and how to call in an emergency, and dealing with choking and burns.

Today 8 children from class 2 visited Shildon Athletics Track, to take part in Quadkids Athletics competition. A really big well done to all 8 children, who did us proud in all four events.
My word. They’re lean. They’re mean. They’re hungry.
